THANK YOU to those who participated in the Poster Fundraiser. Those funds are so needed to support the program, especially coming off of 2 years without any fundraising money from our joint club tournaments, THANK YOU!
CALL FOR HELP:
The athletes would like to support Pack the Place in Pink. If Breast Cancer Awareness & Support is near and dear to you, please reach out to me asap if you feel you may want to coordinate the fundraiser.
Hawk Annual Fundraiser: The Help Center/Run For Your Life
This year Run for Your Life will happen in person, versus last year's virtual run. The athletes may participate in "scare teams" or set up/tear down at Run for Your life, we will get in costume and "scare/goof off" with the runners. We will fundraise through Run for Your Life to support the Help Center and their efforts supporting mental health in Gallatin Valley and nationally with the suicide hotline. Look for more info on this coming soon.
We will bring awareness to the cause at our home match Oct 23 vs. Skyview. A green ribbon is the symbol for mental health awareness, our athletes will wear green ribbons that day.
PRACTICE SHIRTS & SCHEDULES
The athletes will wear the Blackish Practice Shirts Mondays and Wednesdays
Gray Shirts Tuesdays & Fridays.
We will have some fun themes on Fridays, the athletes will get more info on that this week.
THURSDAY HOME MEALS:
After an excellent presentation regarding nutrition and fueling for athletics, we will utilize this meal schedule at Thursday home matches.
JV eat at 4
Varsity eat at 4:30
Freshman eat at 5
Sophomores eat at 5:30
Varsity fuel with recommended snacking/hydration at 6:15.
SATURDAY HOME MATCHES, please bring your own fuel/meals, we will have space in the south cafeteria to eat and store personal coolers/food.

"Sports are a vital way for girls to learn how to openly compete...playing sports provides essential training, not for scholarship purposes, or for the Olympics, but for the real world...It mirrors life as not much else does. There aren't that many other opportunities for girls to work as a team, to win, to lose, and to learn to get over failure, and to help each other get over failure." -excerpt from The Confidence Code, Katty Kay & Claire Shipman
